update to JAVA paper leak case

Authorities of the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) have formed a three-member committee to probe the incident of question paper leak through SMS by an examiner, Ankit Mehta.(details) This committee comprises members of GTU examination committee, said exam coordinator at the institute GP Vadodaria.

Interestingly, while the university officials claimed they have lodged a police complaint in the case, inspector DR Vadher of Gujarat University police station said, they have not been approached by GTU officials. "We don't know anything of this case as we have not received any complaint from the university (GTU) in this matter. We can respond only after officials lodge a proper FIR. As of now we haven't been approached by the university officials," Vadher said.

So it seems as GTU is not interested in making the matter large and wants to finish off the matter within. It is worrysome as a few GTU officials also commented that they had an idea about such cheating going on in many colleges since the past year...but all the actions they had taken were definately not sufficient. This is definate injustice to other students who work hard and prepare for the exams...but somehow these shameless cheats decide to take law into their hands having a very small self centered radius! this is not acceptable under any circumstances and the guilty teachers and the students should be punished in the strictest possible manner!
